Hi, my name is Jim Hageman, President, and Founding Minister. I founded Daily Grace Ministries (DGM) because of my personal, life changing journey with our Lord, Jesus.
DGM’s Ministry Calling is to help people heal from Emotional Trauma, Experience Inner Healing, be Delivered from Demonic Oppression, Learn Spiritual Warfare, and Learn to Use the Authority Jesus gave us. DGM’s Ministry Purpose is to honor God, give Him Glory, and advance His Kingdom here on Earth.
Here is a brief version of my testimony. I was born in 1957 and grew up in a Catholic family in Buffalo, NY. Even though I went through all the sacraments in Catholicism, I never truly knew God, our Lord Jesus, in a personal way. It was not until I 1983, while living in Texas, that I came to know our Lord Jesus as my Savior. It happened as I was struggling to provide for my family while building my 1st company.
One morning I picked up a Picture Bible, that we had, and started flipping through the pages. I came to a picture of Jesus with the scripture John 3:16. I was intrigued. As I flipped through the pages the picture associated with Romans 10:9 caught my attention. At that moment, it was Jesus, that Bible, and me. I asked Jesus to forgive my sins and I confessed Him as my Lord and Savior. My life started looking up. I became passionate about the Lord, and I read the entire Bible several times.
Unfortunately, a few years later, my wife Brenda passed away at a very young age. She was only 34. It was devastating for my 9-year-old daughter and me. Although we knew Brenda was in heaven, no longer in severe pain, we felt so alone, hurt, and lost without her in our lives. I began to fall away from my close, personal relationship with God.
Over the next several years, I still called myself a Christian, but lived my life according to the world. I was married two more times, following the world’s plan for marriage… date, have sex, live together, get married, and then get divorced. Let me just say this, in both marriages, I was forced to go through a divorce due to their desire for adulterous relationships with other men.
After the last failed marriage, my heart was deeply hurt, torn apart. I was lonely and had numerous ungodly relationships trying to fill the void in my heart. On top of that, a close family member asked me to help them get free of a heroin addiction. Nothing I did helped. This was an extremely low time in my life. I kept asking my friend Jim at work for prayer. He and his wife would pray for my situation, yet nothing changed.
Eventually, Jim told me that I needed to come to Church with his family on Sunday. I told him, “No way! All they want is my money, they don’t care about me, etc.” I just wanted Jim to pray.
Well, the Holy Spirit had a different plan and I showed up at Church that Sunday. The Pastor preached a message about David and Goliath. I sensed the presence of God, the Father, for the 1st time ever. God, the Father, was speaking directly to me. I sensed Him saying to me, that if I gave Him all the “Goliath” issues in my life, that he would take them. I asked Him to take all my hurt and pain. He did, and I was consumed with a sense of peace that was so awesome.
God also told me that I confessed His Son, Jesus, as my Lord and Savior several years ago, but I never made Jesus Lord of my life. He said I was saved by His Grace, but I kept living life my way, the world’s way. God told me that if I would truly make Jesus Lord of my life and learn to follow His ways, my life would change tremendously. I told Him that I can’t go on living the way I’ve been. I chose to truly make Jesus the Lord of my life and I submitted my life to Him.
This all took place in December 2011, and something changed in my heart that day. Jesus healed the pain in my heart, a pain that only He could heal. I also give Him all the anger I had for everyone who hurt me. Jesus had me forgive them and all the anger, the bitterness left me.
My hurt and anger were replaced with a passionate desire to learn everything I could about living my life according to God’s plan. I began living my life as Jesus modeled how to live in the Bible. Since then, God led me to take and complete numerous Ministry training programs, read numerous Christian books, and complete various specialized Ministry training courses.
In November 2013, I was Ordained as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the National Association of Christian Ministers. In March 2017, I was Ordained through Vision Life Ministries as a Deliverance, Inner Healing, and an Emotional Trauma Healing Minister. In July 2017, Daily Grace Ministries, Inc. was formed as a Non-Profit, 501(c)3 corporation. In September 2017, at the Head of the Year 5778, Daily Grace Ministries and I were commissioned by Glory of Zion International Ministries as a Ministry of Zion and as a Church of Zion.
Today, and every day, I live my life in a passionate relationship with God, my Heavenly Father, through my personal, intimate relationship with Jesus, God the Son, and empowered by God, the Holy Spirit. Today, I pray that my testimony touches your heart in a special way, in Jesus’ Mighty Name!
