Salvation

If you died today and were standing at the gates of Heaven and you were asked why you should be let in, the only correct answer is:

“It’s because I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross, that He shed His Blood to pay the price for my sins, that God raised Him from the dead, and I confessed Him as my Lord and Savior.”

These scriptures clearly show us God’s plan for our salvation:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” – John 3:16‭-‬17 NKJV

“…that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” – Romans 10:9‭-‬10 NKJV

Pray this prayer out loud (from your heart) – “Lord Jesus, come into my heart.  I repent for all my sins.  I repent for living in disobedience to Your will.  I repent for my rebellion to your authority.  Please forgive me.  Wash me clean with Your blood.  Come into my life and make me a new creation.  By faith, I receive Your gift of eternal life.  I acknowledge that You died for my sins, the sins of the world, and that You rose from the dead.  I confess You now, Lord Jesus, as my Savior and the Lord of my life, in Your Mighty Name.  Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving me your free gift of salvation.”
